Cookie Policy

Effective date: October 1, 2026

Last updated: October 1, 2026

1. Overview

This Cookie Policy explains how AWEX Arizona Pool Care, operating under the legal name published on the Site when available, or under the names "AWEX" and "Arizona Pool Care" as used on the Site (the "Company," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies, local storage, pixels, tags, and similar technologies on https://awex.co (the "Site").

It should be read with our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal information more broadly, and our Terms of Use.

2. What these technologies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a site. Local storage and session storage hold data in your browser. Pixels and tags are small pieces of code that help measure visits or load other scripts. Together we call these "cookies and similar technologies."

Some cookies are set by us (first-party). Others may be set by providers acting for us (third-party), such as analytics vendors when those tools are enabled.

3. How we use cookies and similar technologies

3.1 Strictly necessary

These are required for the Site to function securely and reliably. Examples include:

  • Load balancing, security, and fraud-prevention signals
  • Session continuity for forms and authenticated admin areas (where used)
  • Remembering essential preferences needed to deliver a page you requested

The Site may not work correctly if you block all strictly necessary technologies. Quote and contact forms are designed to keep working if you block optional analytics.

3.2 Analytics (when configured)

When analytics measurement IDs are configured in the production environment, we may use Google Analytics 4 ("GA4") and, optionally, Google Tag Manager ("GTM") to understand how the Site is used and whether key actions occur (for example page views, quote form starts, and quote submissions).

Analytics tags may set cookies or use similar storage. Event payloads are designed not to include your name, email address, phone number, free-text message content, or gate codes. Preview and staging deployments may use separate analytics properties or none.

If GA4 or GTM is not configured, those optional analytics tags are not loaded.

3.3 Functional

Functional technologies help remember choices that improve experience (for example UI state) but are not strictly required for core security. We use these sparingly. When we add more functional cookies, we will update this Policy.

3.4 Advertising and consent banner

We do not currently ship a Site-wide cookie consent banner that gates non-essential tags. We use essential technologies for Site operation and optional analytics when those tools are enabled in configuration.

If we later add a consent banner or preference center, that interface will control non-essential tags as described in the banner and in an updated version of this Policy. Until then, you can still manage cookies through your browser as described below.

4. Attribution and marketing parameters

When you arrive from a campaign link, the Site may capture UTM parameters, referrer category, and related attribution fields with your quote or lead record. That capture supports marketing measurement and is described further in the Privacy Policy. It is separate from (but may work alongside) analytics cookies.

5. How long cookies last

Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them. Analytics providers set their own durations under their documentation. Exact lifetimes can change when vendors update their products.

6. How you can control cookies

You can control cookies and similar technologies by:

  • Using your browser settings to block, delete, or limit cookies and site data
  • Using browser extensions or privacy tools that block analytics scripts
  • Using industry tools where available (for example Google Analytics opt-out mechanisms described by Google)

Blocking analytics or non-essential cookies should not break the quote form. Blocking all cookies (including strictly necessary ones) may affect security, forms, or admin login features.

Browser controls differ by product. Check your browser's help documentation for cookie and site-data settings.

7. Do Not Track

Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. There is no uniform standard for responding to those signals. We describe our practices in this Policy and the Privacy Policy rather than responding to DNT in a single industry-defined way.

8. Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy when our technologies or practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we post revisions. Continued use of the Site after an update means you acknowledge the revised Policy, except where law requires a different notice method.

9. Contact

Questions about cookies or privacy: use the phone number, email address, or forms published on https://awex.co (including /contact). See also the Privacy Policy.
